FACILITIES COORDINATOR

Kelsey Chapman

Luke knew he wanted to go into camping ministry after he finished his first summer as a camp counselor during the summer of his freshman year of college at The University of Dayton in Ohio. So after graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Public Relations and a Master’s Certificate in Nonprofit and Community Leadership, he and his wife Mariah began searching for a camp to call home. Since being hired at Camp Henry, they have fallen in love with the wonderful staff and amazing facilities, along with the Michigan lifestyle.

Luke grew up in Indianapolis, IN with his two parents and younger brother. Much of his time growing up was spent on sports fields, at Boy Scout meetings, and making music with his guitar and cello. In high school, he met his wonderful wife Mariah and after dating for seven years they tied the knot in the summer of 2020. They both are incredibly passionate about serving kids at camp and making a difference for the Kingdom. Luke loves being able to work with his hands every day and use his problem-solving skills in the Facilities department. When Luke isn’t fixing things around camp, he loves to watch and play sports, be outside hiking, play board games, and spend time with friends and family. He considers it a blessing to be able to be a part of the Camp Henry team.
