Come and “tri” your hand at Camp Henry’s first ever
triathlon on June 14th and help raise funds for camper
scholarships! In 2013, over 26% of all campers received
some level of financial assistance, and Camp Henry
provided over $118,000 in scholarship support. Yet, we
still had campers on a waiting list for scholarships and
we were not able to fund every request.
By participating in Camp Henry’s IronKid YOU can
help provide a child who is in need of support with the
opportunity to experience Camp Henry this summer!
To register, each participant will be asked to help
raise a minimum of $100 in scholarship support.
All registration proceeds will go directly toward
camper scholarships. No prior triathlon experience is
necessary. IronKid is great for beginners, with all skill
levels welcome to join the fun!
Unlike a traditional triathlon, IronKid will consist of
swimming, running, and kayaking. Every participant
can expect some Camp Henry swag and the
opportunity to win additional recognition!

staff
We hire a staff of fun-loving, servant-minded, and hard-working Christians. Each staff member has a strong
desire to provide outstanding guest and camper services and is committed to helping make the world a better
place and changing lives. Our staff numbers range from about 10 staff members in the winter and close to
50 staff members in the summer. We welcome brand new staff members each year – yet, many of our staff
members grew up along the Shores of Old Lake Kimball – looking at their own counselors and staff members
with stars in their eyes. All of our staff members are honored and thrilled to have the chance to work and
serve at Camp Henry.
Camp Henry is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association and is accredited by the
American Camp Association. Being accredited by the American Camp Association indicates that Camp
Henry meets or exceeds industry-accepted and government-recognized standards and best practices for our
programs, facilities, and staff.
