TRANSFORMING
CAMP
HENRY
The Dining Hall, built in 1936, is the oldest building
at Camp Henry. Every camper or guest that has
come to the Shores of Old Lake Kimball over the
past 78 years has utilized this same Dining Hall. We
are thrilled to still be utilizing this traditional and
iconic building.
Yet, one of our current challenges is that we are
still using a Dining Hall that was built in 1936. Over
the years we have added onto all 4 sides of this
building – and it is now time to undertake a major
renovation.
While maintaining the current structure, we will
be investing close to $1 million to construct a
significant addition, adding a new commercial
kitchen, replacing all of the doors and windows,
replacing the floor, and increasing the capacity
so we can accommodate our growing number of
campers and guests.
The newly renovated Dining Hall overlooking Lake
Kimball will be the focal point in camp and will
serve as the central hub of Camp Henry, welcoming
campers and guests for years to come.
