Deposit/Payment Policy
The deposit required is $100 per camp week. 50% of the camp cost is due by March
31. The complete cost of camp must be paid 21 days prior to the start of your child’s
camp. If you have a question or concern about payment, please feel welcome to call

Refund/Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee of $100 will be charged if you cancel more than 14 days before the
start of your camp date. You will be responsible for 50% of the cost of camp if you
cancel within 14 days of the start of the camp date. Unfortunately, no-shows are not
eligible for a refund.
Cabin Assignments
Campers are assigned to cabins by age and grade level. New campers are
intentionally placed with a mix of other new campers and returning campers. Please
only list one cabin partner request for your camper when registering. Groups of more
than five campers (requesting each other) are split into two groups and placed in two
different cabins. Campers staying multiple sessions are often moved to a different
cabin for their second session due to the likely shift in ages in the cabins.
Camp-Outs
Camp-Outs provide campers with a one night camp-out experience. Most camp-
outs take place at one of our out-post locations within our own 212 acres. Senior
Campers, the oldest boys and girls in camp, will be able to spend the night at an
off-site location and have a cabin group bonding experience. They will depart camp
after lunch and return after breakfast the following morning. Typical Senior Camper
destinations include canoeing the White or Muskegon River or going to P.J.
Hoffmaster State Park along Lake Michigan.
Health Center
Campers who are not feeling well have the opportunity to visit the Health Center at
any time. The Health Center is staffed with our Health Director, who meets all State
of Michigan and American Camp Association guidelines, as well as a volunteer RN,
and a doctor is always on call. Health Center staff are on-site 24 hours a day. Calls are
placed to parents when:
1) a camper has a health-related concern and requests a call home
2) a camper has a temperature of 100 degrees or higher
3) a camper spends more than four hours in the health center
4) a camper goes to the hospital
Cabin counselors check-in with campers daily and remind them of the importance
of utilizing sunscreen and bug spray and are available to help campers with any
health related concerns that might arise.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
To request a scholarship
please complete the
scholarship portion of the registration form using the
Sliding Scale information below. A minimum $50
deposit is required.
Please send in proof of income
with your registration
to qualify. Examples of proof of income include two
recent pay stubs, the first page of your 2016 tax return,
or a statement of benefit income - such as social
security, disability, or unemployment. Scholarship
requests will be processed once your registration,
proof of income, and deposit are received.
Scholarships will be awarded as long as funding
is available.
Actual awards will be applied to your
account when your registration is processed and will
be noted on the registration confirmation you receive.
In order to serve as many campers and families
as possible,
we can only extend one scholarship
per child per summer. Scholarships will be limited
as summer approaches, so please inquire as soon as
possible to avoid disappointment. A Camp Henry staff
member will connect with you once your request
and deposit have been received. If there are no funds
available your deposit can be refunded.
