Now Hiring Program Specialists at Camp Henry
Camp Henry is a fun, positive, challenging, and exciting place to work, learn, and serve!
We are hiring 3-4 fun-loving, hard-working, service-oriented folks, preferably with previous camp staff experience, to join our camping ministry and serve as Program Specialists. These seasonal positions will begin in early April and run through Mid-November. Program Specialists will provide leadership in one of our key program areas -- High Adventure, Horses, Aquatics, Environmental & Outdoor Education, and Team Building.
This role is ideal for individuals who are in a gap year, have recently graduated college or are college-aged, and are excited to make a difference in the lives of others this season and grow their skills in camping ministry.
Our spring and fall seasons are full of serving school groups, sports teams, scout groups, youth groups, and retreat guests. If you are passionate about changing lives while living and serving in a Christian community, Camp Henry is the place for you!

A little more about Camp Henry
Camp Henry's mission is to provide life changing experiences for all in a Christian environment. Camp Henry is located in Newaygo, Michigan, about 50 minutes north of Grand Rapids and about 50 minutes from Lake Michigan. 
We have had the privilege of serving campers, students, families, and guests at Camp Henry since 1937. We believe that a camping experience here has the capacity to transform lives in many ways.
Employment Details
- The ideal period for Program Specialists to serve at Camp Henry is from mid-April through mid-November
- Compensation
- $425 per week
- On-site shared housing
- Meals (when provided for campers and guests)
