Teen Adventure Trips
Teen Adventure Trips provide teens with the chance to develop outdoor skills, forge new relationships with others, enjoy wild landscapes, and strengthen their self-reliance in outdoor settings. Whether they're an experienced outdoor leader or have never slept a night in a tent, all these trips are designed to accommodate different levels of experience. These trips are great opportunities for teens to travel this summer!
Most trips start and end at Camp Henry. Gear that is specific to each trip will be provided.

2026 Trips
Week 4 | July 5-11 | U.P. North Adventure | Ages 13-17 | $865
Spend a week exploring and experiencing Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and all the outdoor treasures it has to offer. You might get to check out Picture Rocks or other scenic locations, camp out in beautiful rustic areas, take thrilling hikes and see views others only dream about seeing. Come ready to make memories you will have for the rest of your life.
Week 5 | July 12-18 | Zipline Adventure, Red River Gorge, KY | Ages 15-17 | $915
Brake out your daring side and soar the gorge on the Award Winning Red River Gorge Zipline Tour in Kentucky. Possibility of exploring the Natural Bridge with Skylift, biking along the White River and a riverside lunch, and various nature-filled hikes.
Week 6 | July 19-25 | White Water Rafting, NC | Ages 15-17 | $915
Happily spend the week whitewater rafting the Nantahala River, hiking, and adventuring in beautiful North Carolina! Come ready to camp, enjoy the great outdoors, and make some incredible memories.
Week 7 | July 26- Aug 1 | Beaver Island | Ages 13-17 | $865
Enjoy the island life hiking, camping, exploring local history and more! (NOTE: This trip has recently changed from South Manitou Island to Beaver Island, as no ferry service is available to South Manitou Island this summer). More trip details coming soon!

Week 5 | July 11-17 | U.P. Rustic Backpacking Adventure | Ages 15-17 | $905
Brake out your daring side and spend a week exploring and experiencing Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. This rustic expedition takes campers beyond the typical tourist stops to hike, backpack, and camp in some of the Upper Peninsula’s most scenic wilderness areas. Along the way, campers may trek through forests and along shorelines, hike to waterfalls, and explore hidden gems. Pack your grit and determination!

Week 7 | July 25- July 31 | South Manitou Island | Ages 13-17 | $905
Enjoy the rustic island life -- hiking, camping, exploring island historical sites and more! Climb to the top of a lighthouse, spot shipwrecks, hike to the great cedars, play adventurous, swim in refreshing Lake Michigan, perfect your rustic campfire cooking skills, and kick back and chill on the beautiful beach.
